- Fail-closed tenancy
- Every organization’s data is isolated at the database level. If the request context is missing, queries return nothing rather than returning someone else’s rows. The application connects with a role that cannot bypass it.
- Append-only ledger
- Posted financial entries are immutable at the database layer. A correction is a new, linked reversing entry — the original never changes and never disappears.
- Approval gates
- Actions that touch the outside world — sending, posting, shipping, deleting — are registered as gated tools. The runtime refuses to execute them without an explicit human decision.
- Metered AI
- Every model call is costed and attributed. Per-task spend caps are enforced while a run is in flight, so an agent cannot quietly spend your month in an afternoon.
- Untrusted input is quarantined
- Email bodies, scanned documents, and external API results are tagged at the boundary before any model reads them, with known prompt-injection markers stripped. Your customers cannot issue instructions to your agents.
- Everything is attributed
- Who did it — person or agent — what changed, and when, written to an audit spine that the application itself cannot rewrite.
