01
Choose the correct editor
Use Web pages for hosted content, Documents for printable or signed material, Emails for message designs, Decks for presentations, and Animations for motion content.
02
Create and name the file
Use a durable business title and identify its owner, purpose, audience, source record, and intended destination.
03
Review content and data
Check facts, dates, links, accessibility, brand, personal data, legal copy, and mobile behavior. Use synthetic data for previews.
04
Publish to the intended destination
Verify the public slug or delivery destination, test the final output, publish once, and record where the published version is used.
Publishing can expose content outside the organization. Remove credentials, internal comments, and unnecessary personal data first.
05
Revise without losing the approved version
Duplicate or version material when a published, signed, or delivered edition must remain reproducible.
Troubleshooting
- The editor does not load: reload once, then preserve the document ID and report the failing editor.
- A published page shows old content: confirm save and publish state, then verify the exact public slug.
- A file is in the wrong editor: recreate it in the correct format and link the replacement rather than renaming its type.
