A Gmail inbox with AI drafts your team controls.
Keep the mailbox your team knows while turning repetitive replies into supervised, context-aware drafts.
A full email client synced with Gmail. AI agents draft replies into a review folder; your team approves, edits, or discards. Nothing leaves the building without a human decision.
For Gmail-based teams whose customer replies depend on context spread across the business.
Faster replies without handing the send button to AI.
Inbox keeps the familiar mailbox while adding the controls and business context a lean team needs to answer accurately.
- Full Gmail sync
- Backfill messages, labels, threads, and attachments once, then keep connected accounts current.
- Review folder
- Every AI reply waits in one place for an authorized person to approve, edit, or discard.
- Business context
- Link drafts to actual invoices and other platform records so the reviewer can verify the answer before sending.
- Untrusted by default
- Render incoming bodies in a sandbox and quarantine external text before it reaches an AI workflow.
This is Inbox.
Built from the product's own components and design tokens — the spacing, density, and status colours here are the ones you get after signing in.

The question, context, and draft stay in one view.

Proposed reply
Your whole mailbox, synced
A one-time backfill pulls every message, label, and attachment; from then on the inbox stays live across accounts.
Drafts wait for you
AI-written replies land in a dedicated folder with three buttons: Approve & send, Edit, Discard. That is the entire policy.
Triage at speed
Shift-click ranges, bulk archive and forward, and a trash with restore — plus a confirmation before anything is deleted forever.
Safe by construction
Email bodies render in a sandbox, so a malicious message cannot act inside your workspace.
Context attached
Drafts that reference open invoices link the finance records, so approving a reply does not mean hunting for numbers.
Compose like normal
Rich-text compose, reply, forward, and attachments — it behaves like the mail client your team already knows.
The mechanisms behind Inbox.
Not features — the guarantees. Each one is enforced in the product rather than promised in a policy.
- Send is a gated tool
- Sending mail is on the platform’s dangerous-tool list, which means the runtime requires an explicit human confirmation before it executes. Not a setting — a gate.
- Grounded drafts
- A reply that cites an invoice, an order, or a shipment is linked to that actual record, so you can check the claim before it goes out in your name.
- External text is quarantined
- Incoming email is tagged as untrusted before it reaches a model, with known prompt-injection markers stripped. A customer cannot instruct your assistant.
- Your mailbox stays yours
- Gmail connects over OAuth and keeps its address, labels, and threads. Revoking access stops the sync; it does not hold your mail hostage.
Emily — Assistant.
Emily triages the mailbox, answers questions across your own records, and drafts the replies. Sending is a human action, every time.
- Drafts arrive in a review queue with the thread and evidence attached
- Send is gated: the assistant cannot dispatch mail on its own
- Work that belongs to Finance or HR is delegated to Molly or Samantha
Better together.
The modules share one organization record — connections are built in, not integrations to configure.
Evaluating Inbox? Start here.
Direct answers about local fit, controls, and how the module works with the rest of ThePlatform.
- Does Inbox replace Gmail?
- No. Gmail remains the connected mailbox and address. ThePlatform synchronizes the messages, labels, threads, and attachments into an operational review workspace.
- Can AI send a customer email without approval?
- No. Sending mail is an approval-gated action. AI-written replies wait in the review folder until a person approves or edits them.
- How does Inbox verify facts in an AI draft?
- When a reply refers to an invoice or another business record, the draft links to that record so the reviewer can inspect the source before it leaves the mailbox.
- Can a malicious email instruct the assistant?
- Incoming email is treated as untrusted content, known prompt-injection markers are stripped, and message bodies render in a sandboxed surface.
Give every customer a faster answer without giving AI the send button.
Put Inbox to work inside the same platform as the rest of your operation.
